Copies of key records where permitted, or references to where they can be found.
It's a wonderful way to begin discovering the people who came before you, and perhaps the start of a much bigger family history adventure!
Perfect for: Those who want their family history journey started for them, or as a thoughtful gift for someone curious about their roots.
The Family Line
£395 | One direct ancestral line, up to six generations
What's in a family name? Generations of people, places, experiences and stories waiting to be discovered.
The Family Line takes you on a journey backwards through one branch of your ancestry, tracing a direct family line through historical records for up to six generations.
I'll investigate your direct ancestors, uncovering details of their lives such as births, marriages, occupations and the places they called home, wherever the surviving evidence allows.
Along the way, I'll also identify spouses and record the names of siblings where they appear in the research, helping you build a picture of the family through the generations.
Your completed package will include:
Genealogical research and report preparation.
Research into one continuous direct ancestral line, up to six generations.
A digital family tree showing the documented connections.
A written summary of discoveries and interesting findings.
Supporting source references and key historical records where available.
Perfect for: Anyone who wants to explore the history behind a particular family name and discover the generations who carried it.
Please note: Historical records vary in availability, so reaching six generations cannot be guaranteed. This package focuses on one direct ancestral line rather than every branch of the family tree.
